OpenSpace Announces BIM 360 Integration and Presents Case Study at Autodesk University

November 14, 2019

Just in time for Autodesk University next week in Las Vegas, OpenSpace is proud to announce the launch of our new integration with BIM 360, which will streamline RFI and QA/QC processes for construction teams.

This integration means that imagery captured via OpenSpace’s cutting-edge AI technology can now be automatically mapped to project plans in BIM 360 with no extra effort. From there, visual references and precise locations can be automatically attached to BIM 360 RFIs and Issues, reducing ambiguity and simplifying collaboration among stakeholders. OpenSpace imagery can also be attached to punch lists, streamlining project management.

OpenSpace’s virtual walkthroughs are also now available within BIM 360, reducing the need to visit physical sites by up to 50% and dramatically improving the effectiveness of remote management.

Download our data sheet for more information on this integration.

We’ll be showcasing these new features as well as our advanced BIM Viewer functionality at Autodesk University. The BIM Viewer allows builders to view Revit and Navisworks models and 360° photos side-by-side to generate PDFs capturing floor plan locations, architectural models, and current conditions for crystal-clear RFIs. (It’s great for team members who don’t like to work in 3D, helping you have more productive site coordination meetings!)

Come to our booth for a demo! We’ll be at #CON396 and would love to meet you. Email us to set up a time.

We’ll also be sharing insights about OpenSpace technology on the AU panel, “Getting Real with BIM 360: A Case Study of Autodesk’s Boston Office” on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10:30 am. Tom Feliz, OpenSpace’s Director of Enterprise Sales, will be speaking alongside executives from Autodesk and construction firm Lee Kennedy Co. They’ll share stories from the field about how documenting existing conditions using OpenSpace’s automated reality capture system can greatly improve project outcomes.

Hope to see you there!
