While we’ve supported capturing with drones since 2021, we’re excited to expand our capabilities thanks to the state-of-the-art Insta360 Sphere—a dual 360° camera you can attach to DJI Mavic Air 2 and Air 2S drones. Read on for everything you need to know.
The Insta360 Sphere is incredibly easy to use, making it a perfect partner for OpenSpace. Unlike other cameras our customers have used for capturing with a drone, the Sphere has an easy locking mechanism and FlowState stabilization that delivers smooth footage. And with two cameras, one facing up and one down, you’ll get quality jobsite capture without footage of the drone making an unwanted appearance.
This functionality also makes way for less experienced drone pilots to achieve quality captures and eliminates the need for reflights. We expect our integration with Sphere to get even better as we continue to beta test with a select group of customers. Support for Sphere will be generally available to customers in the near future.
