MAPP Construction: Building Shoulder to Shoulder to Honor Our Veterans

Founded in 1991 and based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, MAPP Construction provides preconstruction and construction services for commercial construction projects across multiple sectors. MAPP recently completed Phase 7 of The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana, using OpenSpace reality capture.

Watch this video to go behind the scenes of the Museum’s construction and hear the core project team describe how OpenSpace helped them build more efficiently. The team also explains how the technology provided an indisputable source of truth and greater transparency that kept the project on track and all team members and stakeholders on the same page.

Using OpenSpace, field teams easily leveraged the BIM model on-site to execute the structure’s uniquely challenging design. It was MAPP’s most complex project to date, and the technology strengthened collaboration across a distributed team—enabling the owner, GC, architect, and trade partners to get the job done together, working shoulder to shoulder.
