How OpenSpace Helps Enhance Collaboration Between Suffolk and Trade Partners

Suffolk Construction Company is a Boston-based construction contracting company serving the aviation, commercial, education, healthcare, gaming, and government sectors. Founded in 1982, Suffolk is the largest construction contractor in Massachusetts and one of the 20 largest in the country.

In the course of building a 53-story high-rise, an issue with a critical path component suddenly threatened to delay the project. The construction giant had initially turned to OpenSpace to automate its manual capture processes, generating tremendous efficiencies compared to manual captures in the field, but quickly realized another huge benefit in the midst of this complex project: enhanced collaboration and stakeholder communication.

Read this case study to learn how, working with OpenSpace, Suffolk was able to complete the project a month early, thanks to greater accountability and transparency, improved workflows, and shortened documentation time.

“Accountability is critical on a project of this magnitude, and OpenSpace helped me manage that process much more effectively with our trade partners.”
